If you do rent this 2003 South Korean movie, make sure you also watch the discussion of making the film. The director mentions that the movie "Misery" inspired his premise. The difference is that this film is shown from the captor's point of view - that would be the Kathy Bates character’s perspective. There are comic moments, squeamish moments and did I mention there is cop story in there too. Yes, there's a rookie cop and a retired jaded cop. And as you might of guessed, there are lots of genres and lots of kookiness. So is his boss really an alien? Rent it and find out.
