*The* Montage from 'The Parallax View'

"The Parallax View," an underrated flick made at the height of Nixon-era government shenanigans (1974), is a wonderfully labyrinthine story about a Hunter Thompson-type journalist who stumbles upon a corporation that recruits assassins.

In truth, (spoiler) the corporation only recruits patsies to take the fall for their assassinations. In this scene, Warren Beatty is shown a 5-minute montage of music and images designed to test his physiological responses.
