The movie adaption of Clive Barkers movie Cabal.

The movie describes how all the species of this world have been driven into hiding by man's fear of anything different than themselves. How man has pushed back all the "Children of the earth" through holy wars and hate.

Over centuries, the breed have found themselves hiding beneath a cemetery in a place they cal Midian, (in Alberta, Canada) a place of waiting for renewal. They wait patiently under the watchful eye of their god Baphomet.

Now many years later, Boone has been called forward through dreams to lead the breed forward. Boone unwittingly leads a psychopath killer, Decker, who ultimately destroys Midian and forces the breed out into the opening. Boone is given the charge of finding the breed a new place to live in security.

The book is not a horror novel but a look into the nature of man, the movie is billed as a horror film as Hollywood didn't know how to market it.
It would be nice if a part-two was made to continue where this story left off....
