I never realized the bass guitarist [Ed King] on this recording was from The Strawberry Alarm Clock [Incense and Peppermints] YT: Southern rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd recorded "Simple Man" in 1973 and it featured on their debut album "(Pronounced 'lĕh-'nérd 'skin-'nérd)".
