James Spader's ballad sung to Kim Richards (of Escape to Witch Mountain, Fame and also Paris Hilton's aunt) in the movie Tuff Turf (1985).

James Spader plays a rich kid whose family falls on bad times. They move to a rough part of town where he falls for the girlfriend of the punk leader of a small gang who rule the school.

Also in the movie was Robert Downey Jr. who played Spader's friend and also played drums (in the movie)for Jim Carrol of the Jim Carrol Band. Jim Carrol played himself in this movie. The Basketball Diaries was a later movie made about Jim Carrol.
