Hell Ride is both written and directed by Larry Bishop, a biker who starred in most of the biker flicks from the 70's and directed Mad Dog Time. Quentin Tarantino found Bishop and gave him the opportunity to bring back the biker genre with Hell Ride (From FirstShowing.net)
