Deep Space Communication With Lasers

NASA recently had a successful test of the new DSOC comms system on their mission to investigate the asteroid Psyche.

This is a huge step forward in high-speed communications with deep space missions, including opening the possibility of streaming video from Mars (which is about 3-23 light-minutes away).
