Want a good daily scare?
This google-style map indicates the recent terrorist acts, terrorist threats, and scares of a similar nature. Zooming out lets you draw wisdom from being able to view the "problem areas" while zooming in and probing individual events lets you know the actual details of each incident as it is reported. Of course unreported and undetected events are obviously not included so you can just ignore most of Africa altogether on this map, however sad it is to do so.

Also linkable from the site are current USA Amber alerts by map location... which is likely more useful and certainly brilliant.
