Hello. Do you mind if I dead you? (Wtf Talk Post)

Issykitty says...

I KNO!!! Right?

>> ^ctrlaltbleach:

What really kills me about a lot of the videos is that some stupid company has forced the people to take them down. Most of it is stuff that you can't even buy if you wanted to so how the hell are they thinking there losing money because Joe Schmo posts it on youtube? I mean I saw a blocked 80's commercial for gods sake. Who cares that was 20 years ago and the product does not even exist anymore!! I swear we live in an f'ed up society who thinks that some video from the 70's is somehow going to make them money just because they hold some stupid copyright to it. Get over it people your gold is now dirt cheap! Another thing I've noticed is if the video is of something obscure that not everyone will remember sometimes they don't seem to care. But if everyone remembers it its got to come down no matter whether or not they play reruns of it or will never play reruns of it. Ohh and a lot of the stuff they block is our generation but they leave the older generation stuff alone. So its our moms and dads keeping there stuff free while our culture is locked away for profit.

Ohh and I left out why the hell do they disable the embeds who cares where they watch it there still able to watch it makes no damn since at all. Unless they think that pulling them to the site they have a chance for there advertising to be scene but most people ignore that shit. Argh!

Why math is dangerous...

GeeSussFreeK says...

One of my favorite quotes about math comes from that Einstein dude. Math and the sciences are pretty pivotal on how people see the world by and large. Which is why, when one of the greatest contributors to the shaping of that idea said this,

"As far as the laws of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain, and as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality."

I was taken back a little. Later, as I started to learn more and more, I came across the same type of though in my own education. Math can be perfectly consistent when talking about itself, but when you start to translate that over to the real world you have to consider you are mapping one system onto another and some things might be lost in translation. For example, calculus is beautiful, but does it actually answer the question how finite objects move through infinitely divisible space in a time that is finite? Drat you maths! You bring us beautiful proofs and no understanding!

(ohh hey maths, I know I was just talking some mess, but can you help me see if the tensile strength of this cable is enough to support this bridge...hey thanks man, I'll buy you a drink...(as x tends to infinity..eheheh sucker))

Glenn Beck Attacks VideoSift

blah blah blah

-It's only blah blah blah when sage wisdom falls on developmentally disabled ears-Putting words in mouths is the media's game, on either side of the same fence, knifeboy. People buy bullshit when they watch too much television....Why do you think there's nothing that does not read, "Made in China, Mexico, etc." on anything you own??

Why does the only source(s) used here either come form those tainted by the system (TYT, others) and the major media?? Distraction. Diversion.Mindless banter designed to inhibit the natural order and processes...To keep you thinking you have a clue or worthwhile observation until the ceiling caves in on you and yours, at which point, you will be completely fucked.

Thank you for the kudos, ....at your service.

Oh and Meds?? Those are for hypochondriacs, and people who don't want to see every pharmaceutical company in flames tomorrow. I have no mental disorders, my strengths and faults are by design. Pills are for fucking losers-Do like the codeine though!!

Larry David on Religion

Oh look, another post on top list by atheists. Big surprise on the sift.

What are you even protesting against here? Democracy? You want to fake say 20 downvotes in order to bring about some sort of religious balance?

What does this even mean? A video is voted up by what is most popular by the people who visit the site.

How would you rather we do it, roll a gigantic 100-sided dice and use that to decide how many votes a video gets? I think you should go away and have a really good think about what exactly you're trying to complain about.

Richard Dawkins - "What if you're wrong?" South Park Style

ctrlaltbleach says...

I gathered the same I expected some sort of punchline not the same real life speech which to me is not funny. Ohh well liked the animation though if it was not done by the same South Park team who ever it was hit that spot on.
>> ^Angua1:
I expected a new punch line, but I guess the real life punchline was too good to top. http://www.videosift.com/video/Richard-Dawkins-What-if-youre-wrong. As an atheist, I was girding up to see if I'd chuckle at South Park's take on Dawkins a la the Mormon episode, "Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb."
