I like the news too...it's a barometer I am able to access from time to time, to remind me that I may still be on a planet filled with the developmentally disabled (my charges, if you will, one of the many unreasonable situations the creator placed me here for whatever, fucking reason she decided to be on with that day) and the socially depraved. If I see an inordiante amount fo utter bullshit before I leave the bed, I deal with it, usually having myself to deal with when face meets face in bathroom mirror......OTHERWISE, I have dingleberries in the form of news-spamming half-wits on the video blog I have come to fancy, when I so feel that it is time for a dose of the real, to fuck with.
