Anne Coulter loses her head

I'm just not drunk enough - Catherine Tate

Thylan says...

That can at the end was Special Brew, which has a reputation over here for being cheap and high alcohol. From the wiki:

At 9% alcohol Special Brew is one of the strongest lagers freely available in the United Kingdom, without going to a specialist shop. Some people will say that Special Brew should more properly be described as a Barley Wine, rather than a lager.

In the UK Special Brew is occasionally available in bottles in pubs, but it is almost never served draft. Most pubs refuse to sell it because its high alcohol content leads to excessive drunkenness and unwarranted behaviour among customers. However it is widely sold in off licences and supermarkets nationwide. Special Brew is extremely popular among the homeless and travelling community, and off licence owners will often say it is their best selling item. Its reasonably low price and high alcohol content allow users to become extremely drunk quickly at a low cost should they desire to do so.

Headless Horseman Bud Light Ad

MINK says...

how does he know he loves it?
and the psychologist would analyse what, his brain? in what, his head?

gah!

anyway Bud has a secret nanochemical in it that makes you think of boobies while you drink it, therefore bypassing the circuits in your brain that are screaming "this is PISS!"

this is also the same chemical that has the side effect of making you punch people when you don't get laid, because of the deep frustration your brain is feeling as it dreams of boobies and gets only piss.

Try some lithuanian lagers, they actually taste of something, and they come in heavy 0.5L bottles that you can use to kill a man.

Sambuca? Curious. Swamp is fresh out of that Can't say I've tried it. I have never thought of mixing beer with anything. My husband would faint at the sight Have you tried Kentucky bourbon? Straight of course, but you may chase it with a coke.

Snipe and I were having a nice chat about Belgian beers 3.0 launch night. Ales are quite different than lagers, but worth the effort

Godsmack drum battle / drum solo

deathcow says...

> This is high school level "musicianship"

Oh yeah every highschool has 2 or 3 bands that sound this good... not! And Godsmacks only been around for 11 years so you figure that any high school band that started working together when they were 5 would have their shit at least equally together. Not sure how the high school kids could catch up with the 36 years drumming experience of the lead singer alone. Maybe your high school memories were filtered through Lucky Lager.

Wow that truly sucks. But what a great post. The voice over guy has what I would describe as a late 80s, early 90s voice. I don't know how to describe it, but I know it when I hear it.

I loved Sega in the late 80s, Phantasy Star is quite possibly the best RPG ever made - tie with Ultima IV on the Apple IIe

I remember many an evening of Lucky Lagers and Phantasy Star ... good times. Mike P. Callout

Enjoy the good Lattes. I wish I was there, we could have a serious meet-up. Where's the best coffee in Seattle? Spoiled for choice I imagine. Do they actually have Starbucks in Seattle anymore - and are they shunned by the coffee drinking populace? When I was in Hawaii a while back, there was a "Seattle's Best" that too seemed like a chain that was strictly for export.

They do that here in Australia as well. You know Foster's Lager? "Australian for Beer" No one drinks it here.
