Mission: Impossible-Fallout (2018)-"Behind The Scenes 360°"
hey the Rees valley! I've snowboarded there... beautiful location.
*downunder
Tom Cruise may be the mad space pope, but you cannot question his commitment to his movies.
MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 6 Fallout BEHIND THE SCENES
Movie making is crazy impressive.
Tom Cruise is more of a bad ass than i had thought.
This was more entertaining than the movie could ever be(i'm guessing).
30 tons of trash clog shoreline in Dominican Republic
This is Playa Montesinos in downtown Santo Domingo. On Google Earth there is a cruise ship docked less than a kilometer from this beach. Apparently this happens after heavy rains which ties in with studies that show that 90-95% of all the plastic in the oceans comes from 10 rivers, 2 in Africa and 8 in Asia with China being the worst offender. It seems that as third world economies improve, their taste for western throwaway culture increases without a corresponding increase in disposal and recycling infrastructure. I've read somewhere that even where they have landfills they're often located near rivers where rains and floods flush the landfill and allow it to accept more trash.
Any information on this? Is this the result of illegal ocean dumping, a trash barge sinking, or just normal garbage filled runoff at this spot?
It's hardly the only island paradise overrun with plastic. This is what people do, nearly everywhere we go. We need a plague, yesterday.

"A twin study of self-reported psychopathic personality traits"
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0191886902001848
Perhaps the above is more to the point. Similar twin study showing identical twins having similarly significant genetic component to psychopathy as the prior studies show for sexual orientation.
Should we be similarly upset at people assigning morality to psychopathic behaviours?
"Genetic and Environmental Influences on Religious Interests, Attitudes, and Values: A Study of Twins Reared Apart and Together"
http://www.jstor.org/stable/40062599?seq=3#page_scan_tab_contents
Religiosity shows the same thing, strong correlations for identical twins, raised apart from one another, and much weaker correlations for non-identical twins also raised apart.
If Tom Cruise claims his belief in Scientology is a birth right and how dare we judge him, is he really backed by the science?
Where I am coming from, is insisting that for all the factors involved in human decision and behaviours, I still want to conduct ourselves as though free will exists.
More importantly, the freedom to discriminate against people based upon their behaviours must be defended as strongly as the right to discriminate based upon purely in born, unchangeable attributes like race, gender and ethnicity must be opposed.
Dealing with a scammer
I like messing with scammers. Had someone try to get me to accept an "award" cruise. I asked if it could go anywhere, because I've been hearing a lot about space tourism and have always wanted to see the moon. They said it was a cruise, and I asked to visit Nebraska.
Years ago when trying to get people to switch long distance carriers was a thing, I told someone from AT&T that they'll have to beat free, as I sold my soul to Satan for free calls.

Who wants to watch Tom Cruise's ankle shatter in slow-mo?
Tom Cruise may be crazy, but damn is he a hard working actor. I don't think anybody can question his commitment to his projects. Everybody who works with him says he's like a machine when he's on the job, just solely focused on getting the shot and making the movie as entertaining as possible.
Stuff like this any other actor would get a stunt double to do, but he's said repeatedly that he always wants to do the stunts himself if possible because he feels the audience can tell when the doubles take over. And the stuntmen totally respect him because at this point in his career he's as good at it as any veteran stuntman.
I wonder though if Tom Cruise movies have higher insurance costs because he insists on doing his own stunts.

Tom Cruise is Fifty Fucking Five.
I'm going to turn 45 in March and I wouldn't dream of doing a stunt like that.

Being on a Cruise Ship During Bomb Cyclone
More evidence for my postulation that cruise ships are horrible, and should go away.
