This was from an unfortunately short-lived MTV sketch comedy show called Scratch and Burn. They were cancelled after only 5 episodes.

Jordan and Erik do work on Robot Chicken now, and GQ pops up in the occasional movie.

They are notable for the use of the mellotron and the heavy and trippy sound, dominated by a pounding bass guitar.
