Worthington jets: Water at 11,000FPS

"Droplet impact on a pool of water, in super slow-motion. The vertical column of water that is produced is called a "Worthington jet." It forms when the droplet is released from a sufficiently high position. As droplets pinch off from the column, capillary waves can be seen traveling down the jet."
