Waiting For Godot and Elmo (Sesame Street / Samuel Beckett)

Sesame Street's "Waiting for Elmo" with the sound from Beckett's "Waiting for Godot" cut-up underneath it. This video is my way of paying respect to absurdism. Please leave a comment if you like it!

Sesame Street was one of the most radical television shows of its time - in terms of formal experimentation, compassionate identity politics and avate-garde humor (along with The Muppets). Samuel Beckett, likewise, was one of the most experimental and radical playwrights of his time. Put you hands together!
