Trailer -- Norwegian Wood (ノルウェイの森)

Based on the bestselling 1987 novel by Haruki Murakami, Norwegian Wood is about love, loss and sexuality in Tokyo during the tumultuous late 1960's. A 37 year old Toru Watanabe (played by Ken'ichi Matsuyama) is reminded of his youth upon hearing the song "Norwegian Wood" by the Beatles. Toru's best friend Kizuki kills himself unexpectedly on his 17th birthday and he grows close to Naoko, Kizuki's girlfriend. As the two try, in very different ways, to contend with their grief, Toru forms a bond with another woman, Midori.

I'm currently reading the novel and I'm absolutely in love with it. The film was premiered at TIFF and got rave reviews. I can't wait to see it.
