The Real Football Factories International - Turkey

Danny Dyer goes to Turkey, one of the most notorious countries for football violence, due to the passion of their supporters. The episode is shot mainly in Istanbul, where the countries two biggest clubs and feirce rivals are, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray. Danny meets two members of Fenerbahce's firm, KFY (Kill For You) and learns of one of their supporters Rambo, who once broke into Galatasarays Ali Sami Yen Stadium with a Fenerbahce flag and a kebab knife. We then meet a man named Alpaslan, leader of Galatasarays in-famous UltrAslan firm. Dyer speaks with the firm of their hatred towards Fenerbahce and English fans, after two Leeds United supporters were fatally stabbed in Istanbul at a UEFA Cup Semi-Final match in 2000 against Galatasaray. Danny then meets up with a few more of Fenerbace's KFY, before they take him to the Fenerbahce vs. Galatasaray derby match at Fener's Sukru Saracoglu Stadium. Fenerbahce win the game 2-1. Galatasaray retaliate by tearing apart the away section of the ground. Dyer then goes to experience lower division football in Turkey, and goes to a city called Izmir and meets the firms of their two main teams. First he meets a team called Goztepe and travels with their 'Yali' firm to an away game. He then meets their arch-rivals Karsiyaka, who's firm we learn are run by Goadfather-esque figures, who bring the players and management over to the supporters after the game to celebrate with them.
