When I was first asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I said I wanted to be a garbage man. Up early, riding on the back of a truck, banging cans around looked like fun. Plus they were among the few whose jobs I could actually watch as a pre-school kid.

I never did satisfy my early ambition, more's the pity.
