Leaked Military Report Says Afghan Army Nowhere Near Ready

NBC’s Richard Engel reports a new study conducted for the Gen. David Petraeus concludes that the Afghan National Army is completely unable to operate independently of the U.S. military and that it will take several years before the Afghan National Army can stand on its own, calling into question President Obama’s pledge to begin removing U.S. forces in July 2011.
