Carnival - Goose's Dream

I, I had a dream.
It may have been abandoned, torn up and in rags,
I've kept the dream deep inside my heart like a treasure.

Sometimes, some people would laugh at me behind my back.
I had to endure it.
I could bear it, for that special day.

**
They've always said with concern,
"Empty dreams are poisonous"
"The world is a finished book with closed chapters,"
"an irreversible reality."

Oh Yes I, I do have a dream.
I believe in this dream.
Take a good look at me.
When met against a cold wall called destiny,
I can face it with my head held high.

Someday I will climb over that wall,
and fly high over the skies.

And slip the surly bounds of earth
(not even this heavy world can chain me)

At the end of my life,
for the day that I smile, I hope it to be with you
