Chamber music band Hedera vento came to life when different musical paths of young friends from the Carinthia region of Slovenia started intersecting and supplementing one another. The name of the band comes from Esperanto meaning "ivy’s wind", however the depths of the meaning could be further discussed. Choosing Esperanto as their language of expression is intentional, because the band and the language both have something in common – they freely intertwine various components into one solid collective whole. The intention of their music, consisting of various genres in acoustic style (with slight tinge of Latin origins) is to enjoy and share pleasant vibration in order to create a blissful state among the listeners. With mingling of different styles and languages they are creating so called world music which stays within comprehensive reach of everyone who has an open heart for their sound.
