Apparently there was a system crash seconds before the news was supposed to go on air, and they had to switch over to a backup system on very short notice. BBC 1 was showing a card saying "technical difficulties" but the 10 o'clock news is simulcast on the rolling BBC News channel, which is where this was grabbed from.
