Please explain why Obama was giving an MLK speech today to a group of black people of how "we have long been oppressed and prevented from prospering"

Last time I checked, he was rich as hell, grew up rich, went to very exclusive schools and was running for president.

That would be like a 350lb person giving a speech to an Anorexia support group saying "We're misunderstood. It's so tough being Anorexic, but people just make fun of us!"

I'm not saying racism doesn't still exist, but wtf?
