Hi fellow sifters,

i hope it's alright with you if i post a question for my sole personal benefit ;-) I'm visiting the states in a few weeks and of course i don't want that to keep me from sifting. So i'm looking for an easy way to get "tourist" 3G internet access (i.e. no contract). I'd prefer tethering with my iPhone 3G but as discussions show that possibility is carrier dependend, so i also could live with USB dongles etc.

I'd really appreciate your help on this. So: Which provider? Which offering? And of course where to get?
