Its like some kind of super hero effect. Flame on!
Arizona Rattlers Football-Dancing Player
Agreed.
And @newtboy is right. In the media, men are being pushed into unnatural representations of men's physiques now, in a way they haven't been in the past.
It is the comic book, super hero, action hero thing.
Again selling to men but the sexual aspect of it is skewed differently. More like -- men want to LOOK like them, not penetrate them. Ha. But the destructive message is the same to men as it is to women -- you are not worthy enough if you don't look like this.
Hence my comment said that the makeup of the future would enhance their masculinity, not make them sexually desirable. More manly, to be attractive to women, not to men.
Did you know that all that ab action in the movies is not "natural"? That right before a movie scene is going to filmed, the actor works with his nutritionist and personal trainer for at least a couple of days beforehand? They work to minimize body fat for just that day. Makeup is also used to enhance the ab definition. And that right before the camera rolls, the men do crunches to make the muscles stand out even more?
I say this because I read an interview/article about a man who was working hard to look like those guys in the movies. He was so relieved to learn that his failure to exercise his way into looking like those movie images wasn't his fault.
He didn't know. HE DIDN'T KNOW.
This is not good for men's psyches, goldurn it.
That would require men's and women's sexuality to work the same way, and they don't. Sex sells to men but it doesn't to women. Not to the same extent.
Tom Hiddleston dances in Korea
He dances better then he acts. Celebrity(fan boy) worship is annoying. Don't kid yourself. Know different them Justin Bieber worship. Same type of talent IMO.
-edit-
I have no idea. Maybe the guy can actually act(although I wouldn't consider playing Loki as good acting). Any idiot can play a super hero role (imo) I just hate super hero flicks. They are such shit usually as films go.
end of rant
Tell me how you really feel
Awesome one-take fight scene from Daredevil
If you have not seen this show, you owe it to yourself to try it out. It is incredible. I'm on episode 8 and I think it is the best super hero show I've seen. Simply incredible. There are some parts that could have been better, but from what I can tell it is a 13 hour movie.
From thug to responsible adult in one tenth of a fluid ounce
I must be a fucking super hero.
Ant-Man – Official Trailer
There have been a lot of terrible super-hero movies over the years.
But this year, one movie is set to lower the bar even further.
ANT MAN!
(when can we get an "Honest Trailers" done on this stinker?)
Super Heroes v(ersu)s. Game Heroes
Super Heroes would probably have an advantage at the beginning.. But no one will be able to defeat Cloud Strife. At least to me.

X-Men: Days of Future Past (Opening Battle)
And super-hero films continue to slide further back into the realm of cheese. Unfortunate.
10 Things You Didn't Know About South Park
The funny thing about the 'Muhammad in a bear suit' is that they had an earlier episode a whole bunch of gods acting like super heroes and he was in it. Nobody made a fuss, nobody got death threats, nobody cared.
Such hypocracy has got to make you laugh. Though I think the episode that got the most grief was the episode were a statue of Mother Mary bled out the ass lol.
Man of Steel from a Baby's Perspective
This film was, to me at least, the greatest super hero film to date. Ever. I just can't get enough of that action, and the pacing, dialogue and maturity of it was just icing on top. Superman is my least loved (most hated, even) super hero of them all, and I love this film.
Captain America: Winter Soldier - Trailer 2
You do realize that it's simply a movie filled with comic book heroes, right?
This isn't some Upton Sinclair style expose of an industry. It's not an allegory of the politcal-corporate complex.
It's a friggin' super-hero comic book movie meant to entertain people in an air-conditioned theater when it's hot outside.
Perspective a bit.
Is it just me, or do the heroic one liners about freedom ring more hollow every day as these buffed up brain-dead roid monkeys fight to maintain a government and status quo that shifts dramatically from generation to generation away from freedom and towards economic slavery and tyranny?
Sadly, these sorts of movies just serve to placate the masses while their freedoms are stripped away. But hey, who cares, awesome FX, right?
Honest Trailers - Man of Steel
I want to see Superman controlled by Lex Luthar and Brainiac to do the bidding of a now corrupt USA, and then to finally grow a pair and team up with Bruce Wayne's superhero revolution after he sacrifices his wealth to go underground.
In my mind this is the most relevant tale of these 2 super heroes. Especially when our leaders are all Lex Luthars outsourcing to Brainiacs. Superman would not fight for the American way because the American way is dead.
There would be a new way. And justice would no longer be based on income.
Honest Trailers - Man of Steel
Funny video, but jeez, so many butt-hurt fanboys over this movie. I thought Man of Steel was awesome. Had a few problems, but overall a great super hero movie.
"So, if you loved the Christopher Reeve era superhero movie..."
I'm gonna stop you right there, this ISN'T the Richard Donner movie and it's not intending to be. Get over the past.
Captain America 2 trailer
What's with the horrible super-hero movies that won't go away?
What's with the Robert Redford 'comeback'?
Does he have back taxes to pay off or something?
