Red Balloon Scores Winning Goal
Love how the camera tracked the beach ball instead of the soccer ball towards the end.
Most Badass Indoor Football Goal You'll Ever See
I can watch day laborers do this with a real soccer ball, playing real soccer, at the park down the street. Then they put their shirts back on and work for half of minimum wage at a really shitty job. You tell me whats more awesome.
Jesus walks on water prank
JESUS SAVES... soccer balls from the water.
Mom Reminded She Is No Longer 18
I totally thought she was going to step on the soccer ball or at least try to kick it and miss (a la this guy).
The Great VideoSift Coming -Out Thread (Happy Talk Post)
I just read this whole thread! And I realize now, that I'm not half as interesting as any of you! I'm 18 years old, 19 this May (yay! legal beer buying) and live in Toronto, Ontario. I love this city, and I work for it! I bake pizza in a park in the summertime, and I am a rink guard at an outdoor ice rink in the winter - suffice it to say, I love the outdoors. As much as I do, though, I also love being indoors - particularly in my basement, on my laptop, and on the Sift I stumbled across it accidentally a few weeks ago and haven't looked back since. I used to smoke copious amounts of marijuana, but recently have quit and am enjoying being able to use my brain to its full potential. When I'm not glued to the computer screen I like to doodle, kick a soccer ball around, read, or play with mein kitties. I've already met some very cool cats here, and look forward to meeting more! Cheers.
Caught Masterbating? (Not What It Looks Like)
Downvote. This commercial is an obvious rip-off of that one where dude is pumping a soccer ball.
Lazy, lazy marketing firms.
Norwegian kid banned from PS3 - drama ensues
Good parents. Bad technology.
Soccer balls, checkers, slot cars, skipping ropes, bicycles, etc. don't induce this sort of extreme behavior. It's only the new technology with its demands on players to reach that next level that induces this sort of compulsion and obsession in both adults and children.
Unfortunately, our children are far more susceptible to its controlling influence than their parents who grew up without it and know it for what it is, a force that saps individual will.
I don't think spanking the kid is any sort of solution but the parents' solution of removing and controlling the technology is absolutely the correct solution by re-asserting control in the hands of people and not the software.
I love technology in many ways. But I abhor the market-driven, consumerist energies that are buried within much of its recreational derivatives. In the same way supermarkets and shopping malls are designed to control every waking second a consumer is within their grasp, these products are designed to entrap and control to create that artificially inseminated "need" and "demand" of our consumer economy.
Don't spank. Moderate the child's access to this influence for his own good. The tantrums will be well worth it in the long run.
imho.
Perfect freekick, perfect save
YouTube compression + a soccer ball = sad
Pup Punt!
this commercial is wrong because although we have the presence of mind to not want to do that, some don't and as a direct result some dogs will be used as soccer balls somewhere on this idiot populated planet. What if it was a "kittehs"? I know you sifters love your "kittehs".
The Soundball
Not a soccer ball, but football!
Football Juggling doesn´t get any better than this!
I was always taught that a football was a different shape than the ones in the video. Soccer balls are a horse of a different color.
Chinlone - Extreme Freestyle Soccer Skills
lets see them do that with a real soccer ball.

Morpheus ALWAYS goes for that flying crane-style knee drop. Next time he needs to just run up and just kick the guy like a soccer ball.
Soccer: giving a new meaning to the word "penalty"
Dupe. Same shot, same camera. Dupe. Whether YOU like the slo-mo or not doesn't matter. K.I.S.S. It's the same vid. It's a dupe. If a few extra seconds of a 10-second video bother you so much that you would ignore the fact that someone already posted this video 217 days before you did, quality notwithstanding, and then submit the same thing and defend it, apparently forgetting your own mantra that dupes are "bad", then you are talking out of your ass.
This is a slippery slope that I don't think VideoSift should go down. With the same videos posted on so many different hosting sites (from which Sifters can... errr... sift), there will be as many arguments about why this one is better than that one, or that one is longer, or shorter, or better quality than this one as there are people on here who can form a unique thought (unfortunately, a number somewhat lower than the total number of members). If quality was the only issue here, then PM the original submitter and let them relink it (if they choose to). If they don't want to, or don't agree with your reason for wishing it... too bad, so sad. He/she found it first. It's the same courtesy you would (should) extend to a submitter if you happen upon a dead link.
The content is what makes the video. If I had seen this "version" first, I wouldn't think it any funnier than the original posting. If a videos' content or quality isn't different enough from the original post to alter the experience for a viewer (a music video, say, with much better sound), it's a dupe, IMHO. Sheesh... if I cared so much about quality (in this case, a SLIGHT increase in quality), I wouldn't hang out here and watch videos in a teeny weeny 3" square on 24" LCD. It's a 4 second clip of a guy getting hit by a soccer ball, for crying out loud! How much quality do you need?!? And I'm still typing about it! OMG!
