Robin Hood Tax on the Rich to Benefit the Poor
>> ^imstellar28:
This video sums up why I hate people: emotional, hateful, ignorant creatures.
You are the money winner. Why should we hate you?
Robin Hood Tax on the Rich to Benefit the Poor
Associating any tax with the legend of Robin Hood seems a bit anachronistic to me. Sort of like creating a central bureau of anarchy. He was a rebel, a freedom-fighter, not a tax collector. Not to mention: it's a tax, no matter how you sugar-coat it as being to "help poor people at home and abroad" or however else.

The 49 Films That Will Define 2010 (Cinema Talk Post)
I don't keep track of what's going on in the movies these days, so the vast majority of these are completely new to me.
Shutter Island looks like it could be an interesting story and probably very well acted. It seems it might fall prey to being a predictible rehash of overdone ideas and cheesy "Boo!" cinematography.
I'll keep an eye open for Black Death. Hopefully it's shot more like LoTR and less like 300. Hopefully it can rise above being another medieval action movie riding the coat tails of LoTR.
A Couple of Dicks... yeah, no thanks.
Phillip Morris seems like another brainless comedy. Pass.
I hate Iron Man. The end.
Robin Hood... I'll have to see more. The idea of another remake of this story doesn't thrill me. I'd have been more interested by the original concept, probably.
Predators... Seriously? Didn't we run this far enough into the ground 19 years ago with Predator 2, nevermind the AvP disasters?
Inception... need more info.
Based solely on the cast, The Expendables seems, well, expendable.
Tron Legacy... against my better judgment, I'm looking forward to this. It will almost certainly be fresh and unique even if it's not good.
Hereafter, Mute... need more info.
Paul... Doesn't look like my kinda thing.
Who's the better actor? (User Poll by Throbbin)
I picked Morgan Freeman too. Mainly cos his voice does funny things to me...
Plus he was fuckin AMAZING in Robin Hood:Prince of Thieves

What R2D2 really said in Episode 1
it's a morality tale, Farhad. It's par for the course for them to not entirely line up with logic.
Being a Star Wars fanboy myself, I too thought the midichlorians or whatever was a bit much.
The dialogue. I still think hardly anyone really gets it. Watch an old Buck Rogers or Adventures of Robin Hood show. The dialogue itself: cornball but it's intentional. The delivery (notably in the Star Wars Prequils): ok you got me there

I could go on but I don't get paid to do this and I need to do drugs now to forget how stupid Episode 1 was.
hmmmm, 1,146 sifted videos, 21,793 votes cast, and 10,683 comments posted. Why AREN'T you paid for this?!
and um.........could I have some drugs too? =(
Roof launch (aided by basketball rig)
They've been watching too much Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
