Science Moms
@navlasop that's part of the problem.
For example, there is no doubt that pharmaceutical companies engage in some EXTREMELY shady shit. But when someone screams that vaccines are evil and "big pharma" is hiding the cure for cancer, it becomes difficult to discern the genuine issues (evergreening, etc) from the noise.
"Chem trails!
Global Warming!
9/11 was an inside job!
Aliens at Roswell!"
One of those is a real and serious problem, but if it gets lumped in with the orders, it becomes easy to dismiss it as nonsense.
We need to get better as a society at filtering the signal from the noise.
The Plum Girl - Perfume
Anyone else hear little fart noises or is it just me?
Will This Trick Your Ears?
I didn't hear the song in the piano, I just heard noise.
A-10 Thunderbolt II Brrrrrtt Compilation
Cool, but what's the "BRRRRT" noise about?
The standard ammunition mixture for anti-armor use is a five-to-one mix of PGU-14/B Armor Piercing Incendiary, with a projectile weight of about 14.0 oz (395 grams or 6,096 grains) and PGU-13/B High Explosive Incendiary (HEI) rounds, with a projectile weight of about 13.3 oz (378 grams or 5,833 grains).[9] The PGU-14/B's projectile incorporates a lightweight aluminum body, cast around a smaller caliber depleted uranium penetrating core.
The Avenger proved lethal when tested against M47 Patton tanks in 1979.
Lethal.
Terrible flaw in expensive crowdfunded padlock
The *average* padlock isn't. But there are very high quality locks in the 80 dollar plus range that protect against people with tools.
They may not stop someone from getting past them in an isolated spot, but they're hardened enough that a person with a grinder will need 15 or more minutes ... and with that kind of noise and risk of attention it's not worth it.
So buddy goes and knocks off your master lock with a hammer
Meh, padlocks are not for securing valuable property or for securing property against someone with any sort of tools at all. They are for preventing opportunistic theft. 30 seconds to defeat the lock is plenty long enough for that. Of course, that is a pretty stupid design, so good video nonetheless. If I owned one already, a little solder or permanent loctite on the inner screws would probably do the trick.
Mostly though, The lock company lost me at $100 for the lock. A traditional dial is not *that* hard to work and I'd be worried about false negatives and dead batteries even with a high-quality finger print reader. Just buy a $10 padlock at the hardware store to lock up your garbage cans, or proper u-lock or quality cable to lock up your $600 bicycle (ie, something that will require 15 minutes to defeat).
What's going on inside the Hidroituango dam tunnels?
Don't like reddit. too many navel-gazers there. too high noise:content ratio
Try the reddit link which is in the description. May find answers there. https://www.reddit.com/r/videos/comments/8ko125/strange_phenomena_under_hydroelectric_plant/?st=jhe6vwbl&sh=5d1c1a59
Michelle Wolf at 2018 White House Correspondents' Dinner
I laughed loudest at the jokes where the crowd seemed the most silent (hard to tell, some sort of noise-gate cutting a lot of audience response out I think)

The Many Voices of Peter Cullen
Also did predator noises, but I didn't see them in this.
Most vocals you hear are fake
You can record anything, but please do not pretend to be performing it live if you are not. And if you are forced to pretend, do it in a way that makes it obvious you are pretending, or be prepared to be labeled a fraud and scum of the earth.
If the performances in the video are billed as "celebrity dancing & karaoke" all is perfectly fine.
I find records with one person recognizably singing more than once at the same time weird and uncomfortable, yet hundreds of layers of guitar or synth or percussion noise (by one or two persons) do not faze me. No idea why.
This is all obviously a very pre-sequencer approach to music which must sound really stupid to current computerized generations.
Jeff Goldblum Making Noises
Little know fact is that he actually didn't make any noises in The Fly or Earth Girls Are Easy. He was trying something different for those roles and he just stuck with using intelligible language.
Thanks for the quality!
What?! Nothing from 'The Fly"?! No "Earth Girls are Easy"?!
Still *quality
Falcon Heavy Landing 2/6/2018
"There they are. That was a noise they made. They're going to land. They landed. They are intact."
All things I can see, thanks.
Orca Say Bye Bye
Just like a 14 year old to make fart noises.
Motorboat does impression of Killer Whale in the wild
*fart noises* indeed.
Motorboat does impression of Killer Whale in the wild
It looks like the whale is trying to indicate that it knows mankind is sentient. It further goes on to say, /\ STFU humans and stop polluting my home.
It may have taught itself those noises? To try communicating. If so THAT would be incredible.
