Honest Dark Knight Rises Trailer
Well, the city was being run by a crazy warlord with an army of machine gun-toting thugs and criminals, so I'd say that the majority of Gotham were probably holed up in their houses. I know that's what I'd be doing.
And it wasn't ALL of the police in the tunnels. There were obviously a bunch of them in Blake's underground resistance, and the rest were probably hiding out like Matthew Modine.
Honest Dark Knight Rises Trailer
It's a problem when you're left during the movie going 'waaah? What? Why would they, who would do? what the?' If it makes sense during the movie, and it's only afterwards you might pick holes, then it doesn't matter nearly as much. Suspension of disbelief, this movie did not have it.
The time stuff was the biggest problem for me, the weird pacing of three months of time disappearing into nothing, and apparently the people of Gotham doing absolutely nothing during that time right up until the last day.
And the bit of ALL the police being sent into the tunnels was just insane.
I'm really not sure what it is about this movie that inspires such pedantic nitpickery. Any big blockbuster can be nitpicked to death if you really want to. There are just as many plot holes in The Avengers, and everyone treated that like it was the second coming of Jesus.

"The Ancestor" by Darlingside
Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
This is an email submission request by the creator - very cool video. More details:
The Ancestor is a collaboration between Chinese Takeout and Crazy Lake Pictures, both young production companies forged in the fires of speed-filmmaking challenges. Chinese Takeout members Timothy Hahn – Pixar employee by day, ruthless preditor (producer/editor) by night – and Abraham Dieckman, writer-director of the upcoming sci-fi feature Trash and Progress – recently made a splash on the festival circuit with the animated short film Cadaver, featuring the voices of Christopher Lloyd, Kathy Bates, and Tavi Gevinson. Crazy Lake Pictures accomplices Mike Lavoie, co-executive producer of the acclaimed film Sleepwalk with Me, and Keith Boynton, whose feature film Chasing Home was chosen as the opening-night premiere of the 2012 Gotham Screen International Film Festival, also collaborated on the well-received "Here We Go" music video for Brooklyn-based band The Spring Standards.
The Ancestor is Crazy Lake's second video for Darlingside (after the jaunty parable "Terrible Things"), and the first meeting of the minds between Crazy Lake and Chinese Takeout, though Hahn and Boynton have enjoyed the texture of each other's brains since their days doing improv comedy together at Amherst College. All four men are sensitive film nerds who look forward to many future collaborations.
In Soviet Russia.........(Oh, I Give UP)
The Joker is getting lazy with his intricate and devious plans to cause havoc in Gotham.
Duke University new 1 gigapixel camera. How good is the pic?
Did anyone else think his name was "Gotham Knight"?
The Dark Knight Rises - Trailer #4
I don't really get that, regarding the "stagy" look. Besides Nolan uses the same cinematographer, Wally Pfister, on all his films, and The Dark Knight, Inception etc, were nothing short of breathtaking visually. So trust in them.
Regarding Bane. Nolan's Batman films have always been more grounded in reality. A huge CG like Bane pumped full of steroids would destroy the feel and groundedness of Nolan's Gotham. Bane is still very much like the comics though. Brutal. Highly intelligent. Cunning. Deadly.>> ^Deano:
After all these trailers something's beginning to bother me. Many of these scenes look a bit "stagy" which is a poor way of saying they don't look particularly believable or cinematic. I'm not sure why but there's something in the way Nolan does action/crowd scenes that looks a bit flimsy, as though you can begin to see everyone as extras and the sets as sets.
Maybe it needs better editing or photography in the first place. I know I'm grasping here, but there's a sense of unreality here.
Hey and wasn't Bane this huge monster with tanks or something? This Bane just looks like a regular guy.
Batman and Robin Window Cameos
Just another day in Gotham City with a Nazi Colonel just hanging out.
Love Hogan's Heroes.
Why Eliot Spitzer was really removed from office

Whether or not the Fat Cats wanted the Gollum of Gotham gone, the fact is he and his weenie jeopardized his position on their own. A victimless crime it may have been, but this ninnyhammer was perfectly content putting men and women in jail for the same act.
Liberals suffer the same cognitive dissonance with Filth Clinton. Filth C. globetrots collecting millions for speeches on behalf of "human dignity" when he himself (literally) stripped women working for him in government jobs of theirs. This belief that the left somehow defends the weak against the strong is pure palaver.
Noo doubt clinton and spitzer are not saints. But irretrievebly damaging your nation by removing key people during the crisis because of where they put their 'weenies' is beyond retarded for most countries.
if you think telling off these boys is worth throwing away your economy you're lucky to be in the only country that wouldn't consider you insane.
China appreciates it though so at least someone's doing well..

I'm a little disappointed they've added romance. Even if it was done for the reference, it is kind of soapy. Also, Katie and Soren? I'm a KatMichael shipper myself.
They already "hooked up" for joking material in the first episode of this. I wouldn't take it as a romance, just a punchline. The production quality of these is improving greatly, though.
