The editor is not musically inclined. They butchered Canon in D, and started the lyrical section of Jupiter with a horrible MIDI interpretation halfway through the second phrase.

I don't disagree one bit. I just meant to point out that, while he has fully supported, excused, even canonized racists, he might not be one, at least not to the extent he appears....if he's been honest in private conversation. I can't explain further without exposing private conversations, which I don't intend to do.

That said, 50% of the time I'm leaning towards the conclusion that he's really a group of people working at a Russian troll farm, because of the behavior you outlined paired with worse than bad English skills and an inconsistent personality.

Canon? Are you not familiar with the fuckery of Hollywood? This has nothing to do with Spiderman* - notice Venom doesnt even have the white spider on his chest?

Also Tom Hardy is a terrible choice. His "accent" actually made me cringe.

* Of course in the Ultimate universe the Venom symbiote isnt an alien but is instead a "cure for cancer" created by Eddie Brock Sr and Richard Parker (Peter's father). I take it they're probably going a similar route.

I thought canon was that Spiderman brought Venom back from some outerspace adventure. Maybe they'll throw a Carnage nod after the credits.

I only recognize Alien and Aliens as canon. All the others are trash.

My question is how does the MF get so dirty between this movie and Star Wars. The movie is set somewhere between 11 and 14 years before Star Wars: A New Hope. 10 years doesn't seem nearly long enough for the level of grime. Even if Solo doesn't keep as good care of it as Lando did, which is fitting of both characters... or Lando has lots of fake stuff to keep it looking clean and neat, as it is apparently close to 60 years old by the time of New Hope (not sure if that is still canon though), and that stuff is removed or falls off, revealing the ship's true nature, and this might fit with Lando's character, trying to make himself seem cleaner and better than what he was. Perhaps part of his con.

Would be funny if during a mid/after credit scene we see the fake clean stuff start falling off, and Solo commenting about how Lando was a dirty cheat.

EDIT: Seems there is a possible explanation and possible spoilers, Han wanted the ship to blend in so let it get dirty or made it look dirty...

Finally, who's taking some of these pics? Some are where you'd expect somebody to take a pic, but others, like him falling in love in high school, at first sight, are a bit harder to explain (I know, I know, it's a show (or a show in a show) and don't overthink it)...

Ahem, Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch. Just as an example, although not seen (yet) in the MCU, both Dr. Strange and Charles Xavier together could not totally defeat her.

Quicksilver could probably take him down as well, but he is no longer available in the Avengers movie canon.

While not shown in the MCU, and therefore up to speculation, Thor's hammer can actually absorb Magneto's magnetic manipulation and cannot be controlled by Magneto. There is an alternate universe comic that shows Thor with multiple versions of the hammer, but only one is the actual Mjolnir. At one point, Magneto captures one of the non-Mjolnir hammers because it has a base of Iron instead of Uru (the metal used to forge Mjolnir).

So, pretty funny, but far from accurate. Obviously, Hulk doesn't seem to care who he smashes (if they are heroes or villains), so I don't think he would back down either.

I thought it was a mistake having the bronzer-overdosed-human Klingon be canon rather than what they were, the best that Roddenberry's 1960s budget and f/x technology could manage.

I would have been more impressed if they somehow updated the f/x to use updated Klingons but still using the ST:OS original film.
