Eve ads look like the most amazing Star Wars/Trek/BSG/culture space battles ever.

And then you see a video of an actual battle, where the server has slowed to 10% realtime and the whole thing plays like excel in space.

King of Tokyo, Zombicide, Escape, Mansions of Madness, BSG the Board Game, Mice and Mystics (great co-operative game), X-Wing Miniatures game, Android: Netrunner (perhaps best 2 player game out there), Arkham Horror are just a few of the better games on my board game shelf... want to try 7 Wonders and many others... I play Small World, Forbidden Island, Eclipse, Ascension, and Summoner Wars on my iPad
Catan is a decent game, and does well as a gateway (I think Ticket to Ride is better, and perhaps even Pandemic)...
Love board gaming...

BSG was an epic show that ended in disappointment.
Star Trek was an epic show that was rebooted into disappointment.

You're right, but I still want to see the show based solely on the previous Battlestar Galactica series.
I actually watched, and sort of enjoyed Caprica- must have been the only one though. I feel that show was cancelled before it got its feet under it. Hopefully this new show will be the one that science fiction fans have been waiting for.

This is the long version isn't it? Wow, that's a huge event, looks a lot of fun. So many costumes I could never hope to identify. Surprised to see people come as BSG characters - not exactly the most memorable things to wear.
