I find it saddening that everyone just knows DF as that band from GH. They are a true power metal band, cheesy and fast. It's all about trying to cram in as much cool words as humanly possible, which they have mastered.

Ehhhh, I'd argue against the video game tag, since this video is only related to the game in the sense that the song was used in it, but whatever. Dragonforce is one of my occasional guilty pleasures; they're so over-the-top and cheesy that it's great. Herman Li is one crazy SOB.

What, no "Through The Fire and Flames" by DragonForce? Oh this list sucks! J/K It was a pretty good compilation. As mentioned by many above, while I may not agree on the order of the riffs I do agree most of them should be in the top 20. But I also agree with some of the members here in not mentioning any Metallica. Then again, maybe the video creator was afraid of being sued.

The problem with this being so close to the real instrument is that we end up comparing it to the real thing, in which case this isn't particularly impressive. The guys beating Dragonforce on high difficulty levels were astounding because you'd never seen somebody coordinating a plastic game controller like that - most of us have seen better drumming already, though.

I can't believe Dragonforce got a place on GH3... now EVERYONE will asplode.
