The Simpsons: Homer in his new supercar.
He never should have given up Burns’s Bugatti Sexarosa.

I Woke Up In A New Bugatti
No. I came for the Bugatti, I saw no Bugatti. But why do I expect munkees would know what's a Renault/Lambo/McLaren from a Bugatti?
Watch The Tesla Plaid Go 0-160 MPH
Cost of Bugatti Chiron: $3 million
Cost of Tesla Model S Plaid: $129,990
At the performance end of the car world, electric is here to stay
Watch The Tesla Plaid Go 0-160 MPH
That was not that quick compared to equivalent combustion engines….>11 seconds? I expected much better acceleration, but not top speed. Turns out it has neither compared to some similarly powerful combustion engines.
Keep in mind, the Bugatti is made for top speeds, not acceleration, but wins on both counts.
The Chiron will accelerate from 0–97 km/h) in under 2.5 seconds, 0–200 km/h (120 mph) in under 6.5 seconds and 0–300 km/h (190 mph) in under 13.6 seconds. The Chiron's top speed is electronically limited to 420 km/h (260 mph) for safety reasons. The anticipated full top speed of the Bugatti Chiron is believed to be around 463 km/h (288 mph
Also, this is a Chiron, not the Chiron super sport version, not the top of the line. Weight is similar.
Electric is great…it’s not better at performance yet. Don’t oversell it.
Sure plaid is overkill. But will also change the minds of all who see what EV can do and will push the decade of EV forward/
Like the horse and buggy, the I.C.E age is ending.

Trump Lies About His Trade War with China
My intent is not insult you. I respect you. You have a powerful talent and I feel as though you become frustrated because you keep hitting the curb with your Bugatti.
I never called you a liar nor do I believe you are. Maybe just a little ignorant of your powers.
ig·no·rant
/ˈiɡnərənt/
adjective
lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated.
Again, not insult you but just to show I did my homework. I know you demand that.
Edit: "If I did, I don't want anyone to catch me. Let me fall, crash, and burn, that's what liars deserve."
No one deserves that but, grief will take you there. If you haven't experienced real greif, you're not alone. When you fall it won't be because you're a liar. It will be because you loved someone.
Not my hatred.
My hate is born from a disgust of those who gleefully obfuscate fact and truth.
You go ahead and love the unloveable lying shit bags. Catch them, leave me be.
I'm not becoming a retarded ignoramus idiot who contradicts fact with made up nonsense. If I did, I don't want anyone to catch me. Let me fall, crash, and burn, that's what liars deserve.
I will never become them, I care about fact and truth and I am not a liar, and I'm insulted by the implication. That is a fact.
Bugatti Veyron DIY oil change = $21,000
It looks like they are a company that rents out supercars, probably Bugatti already told them they can't provide warranty in that scenario. Also, sounds like their mechanics regularly handle Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc.
If I had spent a million on a car, I wouldn't be saving $10k at the cost of my warranty.

Ariel atom on Nurburgring VS Corvette Z06 600HP
Atoms are insane.
A Corvette Z06 has around 505hp "stock" giving 355 BHP per ton, a 600hp modified would be around 420 BHP per ton.
If that's (and I'm fairly sure it is, by the sound) An Atom V8 500, it's pushing 863 BHP per ton. 20 BHP per ton more than a Hennessey Venom GT. The Bugatti 16.4 GS Vitesse is 594 BHP per ton, and if it's "just" an Atom 300 SC, it'll be grunting out 545 BHP per ton.
So, if it's a V8 like I believe it is, the power to weight ratio is double the 'vette's.
The Atom V8 is easily in the "Superbike" area of performance. Not bad for a car that is completely legal on almost every road on the planet.
*Figures from http://www.autosnout.com/Cars-Bhp-Per-Ton-List.php
Look like the Atom driver simply knew the track better or was a better driver. Vette looked cautious.
60k HP shockwave jet engine dragracing
5.38 second quarter mile...fast ride---
Oddly, the top fuel dragsters (internal combustion engines) can run it faster (4.5 seconds, with a trap speed of 332 mph...)
Bugatti Veyron around 10.1 seconds at 139 mph
Corvette Z06 runs 11.2 to 11.6 seconds...
VW GTE runs 15.2
and a 2013 Prius about 18 seconds...
Elvis' 1st Recording Digitally Transferred
Gotta give Jack White respect for what he spends his money on. That vinyl beats a gold plated Bugatti any day of the week.
crafting a Patek Philippe 5175R Grandmaster Chime Watch
My only issue is the ridiculous extra time they spent machining patterns and filigree into parts that will never be seen by anyone besides the maker. That part really seemed like a waste to me. Well, that and the price tag.
The intricate and precise clockwork involved is great though, at least to me. Far more than needed, but most truly great things are. Just look at the Bugatti.
Also, I love the chime. You'll never re-create that tone with a tiny speaker and a digital file.
