A little about me...
To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded. — Ralph Waldo Emerson

Ok, then I'm (accidentally) correct, time lady is fine. What's the issue, then? Fan boys that gotta hate change?

She could be the best one ever...wouldn't make me a fan. Early episodes blew it all for me with the tin foil costumes and plunger armed garbage can monsters. Oddly, my wife is getting into the newer ones.
I can't get beyond an immortal Time traveling hero bothered by anything, there's more than all the time in the world to fix any problem, or go back enough to never allow a problem to exist. Any time the hero controls time, the story is blown for me, even when they invent some convoluted reason time travel won't solve this episode's problems. Kinda like the all seeing, all knowing, all powerful, all loving God that allows evil to flourish and innocence to suffer....just doesn't make sense.

No. I've never been a Dr Who fan, so I really don't care.
Just making the point that a Lord is a male Lady in British nobility. I can't grasp why some want to be lords now, as if the terms aren't equal in status....but whatever. Not my fight.

I gathered from his comments that, because he objected to pc thugism, he got mislabeled far right. I would guess the reverse is true to an extent.
I wasn't sure if she wasn't listening, or just not comprehending, or both. There was definitely a failure to communicate by both.

dr peterson is a professor of psychology at university of toronto, and former harvard professor.

i like him but often disagree with some of his criticisms, but he does source all his claims on his website and his books.

though his book "maps of meaning" is a bit of a slog.

one thing i admire about peterson is his careful use of words, which is where the interviewer was getting tripped up.

she was not really listening, and was instead reacting based on assumptions, rather than his actual words.which is why she kept with the "so what you're saying.."

the extreme left has labeled peterson an "alt-right" demagogue and a "transphobe" but both of these allegations are patently ridiculous with even a tertiary examination of what peterson is saying.

you don't have to agree with him,but as this interviewer found out, presume at your own risk.

he will may you pay for your presumptions and arrogance.

i find both dr peterson and dr haidt invaluable in understanding the psychology of human societies.peterson is an evolutionary psychologist while haidt focuses on moral psychology.

but what do i know..i am just a ghetto white trash kid from the burbs.
still interesting.

Didn't he say he got them from....was it Facebook? YouTube? He mentioned it was a primarily male membership website. Maybe it was written posts instead of videos...I'm no longer sure.
I don't have the inclination or time to watch it again, it was in the first third I think.

Edit: ahh, I misunderstood him, that was his audience, not his data....80% men on YouTube. His data was so far from my experience it was easy to believe it was culled from YouTube comments. I wonder where his data comes from, much of it seemed to be assumption and historical misconceptions.

Wind River.

Heavy stuff set in breathtaking Wyoming. Much better movie than I expected. Have a look, you won't regret it.
