the opening scene to steven speilbergs epic WWII movie "saving private ryan".which i would vote for the most intense movie opening in cinema history.
we all ready about "d-day".the taking of normandy and just how impossible it must have seemed but we never really could grasp the scope of just how horrible it may have been.

in comes steven speilberg to give us a glimpse.

love him or hate him but you cannot deny that director speilberg is an artist of the highest magnitude.
if you have never seen this film i beg you watch this opening act.
