jon stewart tears into eric garner reactions

After his brief moment of seriousness last night, Jon Stewart found comedy tonight in the reactions to the Eric Garner grand jury decision. For example, the fact that the cop wasn’t indicted, but the man who shot video of the incident was. Stewart cried “They got the shooter… of the video!” and explained that “photographing crime does not pay.” Stewart took down arguments that it wasn’t a police chokehold and race wasn’t a part of it, but was most baffled at all with Rand Paul blaming cigarette taxes, leading him to say, “What the fuck are you talking about?!”

He ended on a more serious observation that maybe the problem here is the symbiotic relationship between prosecutors and the police.
