Why You Should NEVER Fly American Airlines

Cenk Uygur, host of The Young Turks attempted to travel from Los Angeles to Miami recently, things went horribly wrong. American Airlines delayed the flight repeatedly and it appeared that the only reason they diverted a plane was due to protests and because they were being recorded. As Cenk and others began to board, people who had been recording the incident were told they were not going to be allowed to fly on the plane and that they would have to eat the cost of the ticket unless they could work something out with customer service. Supposedly because the pilot didn't feel comfortable letting them on.

After he swapped to Jet Blue, he got a response from AA saying the reason why the people filming were removed was due to safety procedures. Apparently AA has a rule that does not allow you to fly if you record their employees for any reason.

I find it sad that due to the terrorist attacks of 9/11, airport and airplane employees wield autonomous power in regards to anything they don't like. Piss off an employee and you will find they have a rule of some type to fuck you over ten thousand-fold. Annoy them further and they will either have police/security escort you out or put you in a small room to be interrogated as a possible threat until THEY are satisfied otherwise. The small amount of security, if any, we are given is not worth the power we gave these individuals.
