One of my favorite shows as a kid, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? was a PBS kids game show built around the idea of tracking down a mysterious criminal named Carmen Sandiego, who, along with her henchmen, is strangely obsessed with stealing culturally-relevant items and hiding in many different locations around the world.

This particular episode has one of Carmen Sandiego's henchwomen stealing the Lascaux cave paintings. This is part one of three.

Contestants, throughout the course of the show, were quizzed on history, culture, geography, and more. Not only was it tons of fun and interesting to me as a young'un, it was also highly informative and got me to learn quite a bit and got me interested in a lot of things.

The computer games that inspired the show, which are available for free online, are also awesome.
