Walking over an 1800 foot deep gorge, no safety line

A 25 year old guy who apparently doesn't have have a normal fear response decided to walk a slackline (tightrope) over an 1800 foot deep gorge in British Columbia...Without a safety line (yes, he practiced with one, but I suppose, he decided it wasn't enough of a challenge to do it with one on for real...)

He made it on the third attempt.

Then he decided to ropeswing from the slackline...looks like he was just feet off the rock faces...
I'm not sure what this guy is going to find to do in real life...Smoke jumper? Helicopter electrical lineman? Deep sea fisherman? Lumber jack? X-games competitor?
