Trump Threatens Comey, Suggests Canceling Press Conferences

In a Friday morning Twitter-storm, President Trump appeared to threaten former FBI Director James Comey about "tapes" of their conversations that could be leaked to the press. CBS News White House foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan and homeland security correspondent Jeff Pegues join CBSN to discuss the Comey firing timeline.
In sworn testimony, the acting FBI director contradicts Trump's last stated reason for firing Comey, saying he had the broad support of the agency and agents and it is not in any way in disarray.

In another tweet, Trump publicly toys with the idea of canceling all press conferences because his subordinates can't get the story straight at the podium (probably really more like so they can pick and choose the questions they answer without having the ones they ignore broadcast), suggesting written releases would do better, but so far they have been just as inaccurate.

Finally, the meeting between Trump and the Russian diplomats implicated in the interference in our (and now France's and Germany's) election, held in the oval office without American press, but with Russian press given free range (important to note that the Russian press has been known to leave spy devices behind in the past, so the oval office may well be bugged by Russia now).
