Trump Backtracks “Proud” Claim He Bought A Glock

On his campaign trail, Trump stopped at South Carolina's armory gun shop and his staff's loose lips have some explaining to do.
His campaign and Greene both confirmed he had purchased the Trump themed Glock (a foreign made gun manufactured in Austria). Shortly afterwards they were informed that Trump may not purchase or possess a gun because he’s under federal felony indictments, and doing so is a felony itself (under the exact same law about being addicted to controlled substances when applying for a gun).
Once they realized they were advertising another felony and committing the same crime Hunter is charged with, they pulled the videos and now say he did not buy the gun (but haven’t yet said he didn’t take it as a gift, which is still a felony).
As a side note, the campaign’s first statement “President trump is NOW a proud 2A owner” indicates this would be his first gun ever.
