This is probably the biggest loophole in German gun law: Because this arrow shooting airgun does not shoot a projetile THROUGH a barrel but OVER a barrel, the BKA (highest German authority on gun assessments) ruled that the Verminator MK2 in the arrow-only version is a toy and by no means covered by German gun law.
Means, it is totally unregulated, can be owned by minors, can be shot anywhere (with the land owner's permission) and can be kept loaded next to your night stand if you want - even though it has 10 times the energy of a legal (but still very regulated) pellet shooting air gun.
