The steerable bullet is almost here...DARPA's Exacto project

Terrible quality video; sorry about that. Apparently DARPA has been working on a Tom Swift/Evil Bond Villain/science fiction project for some time---the steerable 50 caliber projectile, under the name "Exacto". Not sure what the technology is---probably microminaturized version of an anti-tank missile? No wires, one assumes (although hey, why not, right?) triggering corrective bursts at the end of the bullet to "steer" it onto the target.

Sort of amazing.
