How did we get here? -well that’s a long, long story
that begins 13.7 billion years ago inside a bubble
that is smaller than an atom.

It is story that includes the formation of atoms, the
first burst of light, the birth of stars, the aggregation
of planets, the appearance of liquid water, chemical
reactions leading to life, and the eventual develop-
ment of a consciousness that can contemplate its
own existence and its own small place in a universe
that is 156 billion light years across.

It is a long, long story; but not so long that the
History Channel can’t tell in well, in less than four
minutes, complete with time lines and computer
