Terry Riley "In C"

I love all of the minimalists but at the top for me is La Monte Young's "A Well Tuned Piano" and then Terry Riley's "In C" which he wrote in 1964. Riley also did an awesome electronic piece called "A Rainbow in Curved Air" that is pretty awesome a couple of years later. After these works I'd say Steve Reich came along tightened everything up and knocked shit out of the park.
