Stray Locomotive *ALMOST* Kills a Gizallion Helpless Orphans

KASTELA, CROATIA - After rescue workers arrived to extract the injured from the train, another tragedy nearly occurred near Kastela.

The speed limit at the place where the accident occurred is around 90 kilometres per hour. There was probably a problem in the infrastructure, because it is possible that the railway tracks buckled under the heat. The temperature in Split was 34 degrees Celsius.

A locomotive which maintains the tracks nearly hit a rescue worker, and after that it also jumped off the tracks. RTL’s cameras exclusively recorded the moment.

Even though the president of the Croatian Railways train drivers union Nenad Morgan said that the incident with the locomotive did not have anything to do with the train accident. However, the question must be asked, what was a track maintenance locomotive doing at the scene of the accident. How is it possible that nobody stopped the locomotive earlier.

Remember, a train accident took the lives of 6 people, with another 40 were injured. For now the cause of the train coming off the tracks is not known, but it is speculated that the high temperatures were the cause of the accident.

The rescue teams moved the injured, amongst which were foreign citizens, to the KBC Split hospital.
