Shooting Stars Christmas Special (1995)

Shooting Stars was a hilarious excuse for Vic Reeves & Bob Mortimer to take the piss out of celebrities. It featured George Doors as the first appearance of Matt Lucas on TV (except as a child on kids TV!) Ulrika Johnson was usually the victim of jokes while Mark Lamar was a reluctant 'bad guy' (and 1950s bin man!) The show, plus its various random rounds and characters throughout the many series, are very hard to describe. It's also tough to find a clip that sums it up - so a Christmas special from the early series should be a good example (with added nostalgic vintage VHS effects!)
