Shakespeare: The Animated Tales - The Tempest

Shakespeare: The Animated Tales comprised two six-part television series. Each episode was an animated half-hour adaptation of one of Shakespeare's plays. Production was co-ordinated by the Dave Edwards studio in Cardiff, and executed by well-known Russian directors and animators in Moscow. This is the Tempest directed by renowed Russian stop motion animation director Stanislav Sokolov. He was awarded a number of prizes for his films, most notably an Emmy in 1992 for his contribution to The Animated Shakespeare series
