This week’s Saturday Night Live saw the return of two characters you’d thought were long since forgotten about: Dana Carvey‘s long-absent Church Lady, and Ted Cruz (as played by Taran Killam). On an all-new episode of Church Chat, Carvey’s pious creation interviewed Cruz, who even the Church Lady thought was “a little preachy,” and Darrell Hammond‘s Donald Trump, who riffed on his favorite books of the Bible. Isn’t that special?

No episode of Church Chat is complete without a visit from the cloven hoofed host of Hades, and this one didn’t disappoint.
