Do kangaroos possess the same kind of prehistoric staying power touted by the likes of the crocodile and ostrich? After many long months of video observation, a previously dormant evolutionary characteristic has prompted scientists to say yes.

When transplanted from his native habitat, the male kangaroo's drive to propagate remains impressively strong. So much so, he uncannily adopts non-traditional courtship and mating habits. This specimen is a prime example.
